Everest FCB is a favoured option that fits any of your construction requirements. Manufactured using a revolutionary new technology, these boards are 100% Asbestos free and help in contributing towards the LEED credit points. Everest FCB, when introduced into sustainable building systems, makes them energy efficient.
The superior thermal insulation properties of these boards make them ideal for extreme climatic conditions. The Thermal Conductivity of the FCB being 0.14 w/m°k and tested as per ASTM C 518.
These boards are moisture resistant and prevent water seepages and warping in homes and offices. The boards do not cave in under heavy rain, sandstorm or any other weathering forces, making them highly durable. Suitable for all kinds of weather conditions humid or dry these boards have an exceptional dimensional stability. The results are tested in accordance with ISO: 8336 & ASTM C- 1185; BS EN 12467.
The Everest FCB range is non-combustible and qualifies for Early Fire Hazard Indices as per AS-1530, part 3. These do not ignite when exposed to direct flames and have a fire rating of up to 2 hours. The products are tested in accordance with BS-476, part 4, 5, 6, 7. The boards are also mechanically very strong and offer good impact resistance. The test results of the products are in accordance with ASTM 1185.
Everest FCB range of products is easy to decorate with laminates, veneers, tiles, wall paper, carpets, polish or paint. They can be coated with all kinds of paints and offer perfect finish. They also consume less paint owing to their low-lime content. The boards are easy to cut, nail, screw, saw, plane, paint, glue and drill.

Everest range of Fibre Cement Boards is manufactured from a homogeneous mixture of Portland cement, treated cellulose fibres, finely ground silica quartz and other selected mineral fillers in a state-of-the-art unit using sophisticated, digitally controlled processes. Cement acts as a hydraulic binder and the cellulose fibres interlock with the cement and quartz matrices to add strength to the boards. No asbestos is used during the entire process, making Everest products 100% asbestos-free and environment friendly.
